Disney Character Clicks

Disney Character Clicks allows visitors at the Walt Disney World Orlando resorts to take photos with up to four Disney costumed characters at a time. The initial launch featured clips of characters wearing special “Disney100” anniversary outfits celebrating Disney’s centennial, which were then replaced with clips featuring the characters’ classic outfits in 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead developer on an AT&T 5G-powered AR photo experience deployed at two Walt Disney World resorts (All-Star Sports and All-Star Movies)

  • Built the Unity application, delivering a polished, high-performance experience to Disney's exact spec.

  • Implemented custom AR character posing, MagicBand scan-in integration, and analytics, optimizing throughout for performance and reliability on-site

  • Engineered a stream of client-requested customizations including hidden features that extended the app well beyond its original templated architecture and ran extensive manual QA to guarantee a stable, show-ready deployment



Pose With Dallas Cowboys

Activation Date: 2023, 2024​​

In an effort to continue enhancing the fan experience at AT&T Stadium, repurpose underutilized concourse screens, and showcase the power of AT&T’s 5G Network, Sector 5 Digital collaborated with the Dallas Cowboys, Wasserman, and AT&T to develop the first Pose With experience. Within the first 30 days of activation, Pose With the Pros went viral and had over a half a billion shares on social media. Each year, the experience gains more users, with 100k+ in the 2023-2024 season alone. Because of the increased popularity, the stadium added an additional 8 screens (16 total) due to its success. Named Pose With the Pros, full-body videos of Cowboys players were captured to become interactive with varying poses, ensuring unique photo opportunities even when users selected the same players. The activation is still in use today, with additions such as a mobile “On The Go” version for fans at home, touchless kiosk registration via QR codes, and experience variations that include cheerleaders, mascots, and holiday overlays.

  • Took over as lead developer on the flagship "Pose With the Pros" Dallas Cowboys experience at AT&T Stadium, an AT&T 5G-powered AR photo activation engaging 100k+ users in the 2023-24 season

  • Maintained, optimized, and extended the production Unity application, delivering advanced analytics integration, new player content, dynamic menu and UI enhancements, and real-time multi-language translation support

  • Continuously optimized the experience for maximum performance and user engagement across a high-traffic, live stadium environment, ensuring stable and reliable operation throughout the season

  • Shipped new client-requested features while preserving the stability of a mission-critical, always-on installation



Pose With Dirk Nowitzki

Clients: The Playmakers Group

Project Role: Lead Developer

Activation Date: 2024

In order to drive traffic to their new restaurant, Nowitzki, in the Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport, The Playmakers Group partnered with Sector 5 Digital to bring Pose With Dirk Nowitzki to life. The restaurant has experienced increased traffic, attracting over 5,000 users per month from passing airport-goers. By offering a free photo opportunity, the restaurant has achieved a more than 50% increase in purchase rates. This single-player experience allowed patrons to virtually “meet” the NBA hall-of-fame star, take a personalized photo, and receive a personalized autograph as an overlay to the photo for sharing online. Branded overlays have opened up new revenue streams for The Playmakers Group, as sponsors could showcase their branding on the shareable photo.

  • Lead developer on Pose With Dirk Nowitzki, a single-player AR photo experience engineered for The Playmakers Group to drive foot traffic to the Nowitzki restaurant in Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

  • Built the full Unity experience, architecting it for templatization from the ground up to enable rapid, scalable deployment across future Pose With activations

  • Developed features such as animated autograph signatures along with client-requested features, including dynamic animated autograph signatures, branded sponsor overlays that opened new revenue streams, and integrated analytics each optimized for reliable media delivery and user engagement

  • Attracted 5,000+ users per month and contributed to a 50%+ increase in restaurant purchase rates



Pose With karol g

Clients: AT&T, Dallas Cowboys

In collaboration with AT&T, developed a traveling kiosk-based AR experience as part of Karol G’s 2022 “$trip Love” tour. Concert attendees could get a virtual photo with Karol G without needing a backstage pass.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead developer on the Karol G Pose With experience, part of the AT&T-sponsored Pose With AR activation series

  • Programmed a responsive, interactive AR photo experience, extending the shared Pose With framework for rapid, optimized delivery

  • Delivered client customizations and integrated analytics, ensuring high performance and reliable media delivery for end users



Pose With Rebelde

Clients: AT&T and CAA

Project Role: Interactive Developer

Activation Date: 2023

In order to increase consumer engagement with the Hispanic market, AT&T and CAA partnered with Sector 5 Digital to bring a unique Pose With experience to fans of the band Rebelde at their comeback tour, sponsored by AT&T. The experience reached a wide audience spanning each of the tour locations and highlighted AT&T as a proud sponsor of the tour and Latin Music Week. At each of the 28 tour locations, fans posed in front of a backdrop with the band members. Once the experience began, the band members came off of the backdrop to pose with the fan and signed the photo with a personalized autograph. Fans received their customized photo and videos to share across socials.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead developer on the RBD (Rebelde) Pose With experience an AT&T-sponsored, high-performance WebAR activation tied to the band's comeback tour, delivered using Unity and 8th Wall AR

  • Built the experience, engineering an immersive AR portal that let fans scan a QR code to step backstage with the band and capture a personalized selfie with a branded AR overlay

  • Implemented custom login pages, QR-based authentication integration, and analytics, optimizing the experience for seamless performance across diverse retail environments

  • Drove 22,000+ users across 63 countries through link sharing, increasing in-store dwell time and customer conversion
